Nowadays, where the media has overshadowed all aspects of human life and is one of the important factors influencing the individual and group lifestyles, the need to increase happiness and vitality is increasing every day. Events such as natural disasters, war, and disease outbreaks such as COVID-19 also add to the importance of noticing making peace and happiness. Comedy series are among the most popular programs that attract a wide and diverse audience. But it is often observed that the use of verbal aggression as a deliberate behavior is high in comedy series. Therefore, in the present article, an attempt was made to examine the level of verbal violence in the form of Culpeper's verbal illiteracy strategies (1998/2011) by examining three sets of comedies that were broadcast in the first half of 1400 (SC) (April-September, 2022). Three sets of Butimaar, Zirkhaki 2 and Dudkesh 2 were selected as the statistical population and three parts of each set were randomly selected and thoroughly studied. The results show that verbal violence is manifested by the use of taboos and the use of harsh sentences in which overt rudeness and negative rudeness are used. Overall, the use of verbal violence was higher in the Butimaar. The results of this research show the necessity of examining the language of comedy productions before broadcasting.

Background: childhood aggression, particularly in preschoolers, is one of the most common behavioral problems throughout the world. Therefore, it is important to identify the predictors of this problem. This study was conducted to determine the predictors of physical and verbal aggression in preschoolers.Methods: This descriptive cross-sectional study was conducted on preschoolers in Rasht in 2013. Study samples included 614, 5 to 7 year-old children who were selected by two-stage cluster sampling of preschool centers under the supervision of Education and Welfare organization of Rasht. Data collection tool included two questionnaires. The scale aggression in preschool children was used to measure the aggression and the questionnaire consisted of 3 parts (individual, familial, social and economic) was used to examine the factors related to the aggression. Then the data was analyzed by PSS software version 21, using descriptive and analytical statics.Results: The average score of verbal and physical aggression and also individual, familial and socioeconomic factors related to them were calculated. (p<0.05) Multiple linear aggression model results showed that individual and familial factors- including the type of preschool center (public or private), father's level of education, parents arguing in the presence of their children and corporal punishments by parents- were the main predictors of the aggression.Conclusions: According to the results of the study, it seems that individual and familial factors are the main predictors of physical and verbal aggression in children. Therefore, the special attention must be paid to these two factors for preventing.

The present research investigates the existence of verbal aggression and its causes in Tehran middle schools. Subjects consist of 498 students (boys and girls) from Tehran educational districts. Research findings highlight the fact that there exits verbal aggression not only between students but also between teachers, non-teaching staff and students. There is a significant difference between boys and girls: boys being more aggressive than girls. The most important factors causing the verbal aggression of students is seen by them as their individual characteristics, the school failure and excessive amount of homework. The students see the cause of teachers verbal aggression as being the teachers characteristics and the crowded and negative atmosphere of the classroom. Boys express their anger more by verbal and physical aggression than girls

Background & aim: The phenomenon of aggression and its occurrence is one of the serious and pervasive harms and issues in today's societies that it is very important to know the causes, extent and ways to reduce this social problem. The aim of this study was to investigate the level of aggression and the factors affecting it in students of Ardabil School of Nursing and Midwifery in 2019. Methods: This research is a descriptive-analytical cross-sectional study that was performed on all students of Ardabil School of Nursing and Midwifery in the first half of 2019 by stratified random sampling. Demographic information and Eysenck and Glyn Wilson aggression questionnaire were used to collect data. Data were analyzed using SPSS software and descriptive and analytical statistics. Results: The results showed the mean aggression of 26. 98± 8. 54, which indicated the moderate aggression in students. The mean aggression in boys (28. 46± 8. 84) was higher than girls (25. 52± 8. 03) and 4th semester students had the highest mean anger with mean and standard deviation of 32. 78± 9. 49. The findings also showed that emergency medical students had the highest mean anger among other students (31. 92 ± 6. 42) (p<0. 05). Conclusion: The results showed that the level of students' aggression was moderate. Considering the confirmed relationship between aggression and social problems, it is better to pay more attention to reducing it. It is also suggested to study the factors that cause aggression among students and provide the necessary training to reduce aggression in this group.
